S.P.R. Centre Sponsored Go Kart

wins with style!

Regular customer and friend of S.P.R. Centre, Stuart Morris, a script writer for ITV's 'The Bill' has a daughter Georgina who attends the local Eastergate Church of England School. Together they took part with other schools to build and race a Go-Kart at the Eastergate school summer fair 2009. Father and Daughter approached S.P.R. to sponsor them which we gladly agreed to do. Georgina and the 'Brecon Mobile' were entered in the S.P.R. sponsored 'Figure of Eight Dash' and despite early engine trouble, Georgina's sterling steering saw them through and they won both the heat and the final! They also won their heat in the Oval Race but were pipped to second place by the 'Dirty Half Dozen's' chicken mobile in the final. The S.P.R. Brecon Mobile also won the Funniest Go Kart Competition as judged by an engineer from Rolls Royce. He also praised the safety and stability of the kart's design.
