We are open seven days a week, from 9am until 6pm.

S.P.R. Centre supply Point of lay hens for small scale, free range producers.

These hens are available for collection only, and should be ordered in advance to be certain of getting them when required.       We currently have the Black Rhode hens, which are a Rhode Island and Plymouth Rock cross. They are fully vaccinated   and parasite free; a hardy bird, laying a medium brown egg, with good shell quality, and they lay well over successive seasons. These birds are ideal for free range, and a good purchase for those people starting out keeping poultry for the garden.

S.P.R. Centre stock a large range of feeds covering most types of domesticated animal, from chickens to sheep.
If we don’t keep it in stock, there's always a chance we can order the feed for you.
Special orders usually take 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the day your order is placed.

     We supply poultry, pig and sheep feed from W. H. Marriage & Sons, who also supply some of our organic range.
We also stock Allen & Page Smallholder feeds, including poultry feed, organic feeds, goat feed and sheep feed.
We have our own S.P.R. Centre Mixed Corn that you can feed your poultry as a treat in the afternoons.

              For improved performance and condition try our own S.P.R. Maintenance Mix or S.P.R. Maintenance Cubes.                These healthy and nutritious feeds are available in 20kg bags. They also come at a great low price!

Our pest control range includes rat poison and mouse bait manufactured by Pelgar which is available loose,
in gel form or in pasta blocks. We also have baiting boxes, mousetraps, rat traps, both single and multi-catch.
We supply squirrel traps and small animal traps and carry in stock the Sonic Pest Chasers which safely
deter a variety of pests from your garden using high frequency sound.
